Project's description

We are looking for a Backend Developer who will join our client's team in the Do It Yourself. This service is dedicated to provide reliable services to support their end customers in different DIY tasks that need to be done in their alarm systems. Examples of such services include support for ordering and changing batteries in the alarm components, as well as, ordering and replacing the central units. They also build functionality for their business to easily trigger, configure, and track the progress of these DIY tasks.

The client currently prepares to implement large improvements and re-build the architecture, therefore they are scaling up the team. The Backend Developer will develop, analyze, review, and rewrite software including automated tests. Part of the job is to analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design. They will expect the new hire to solve complex problems and bring new perspective on existing solutions. 

The Backend Developer will work alongside colleagues in their own team, as well as from different parts of the organization. The team is a mix of new, senior, onsite, and nearshore members. The team includes developers, a quality engineer, a product owner, and a scrum master.

Expectations:

• techstack must have: Java, Microservices(Spring Boot) + good to have: Jenkins, DevOps, Rest APIs, Sybase SQL/MYSQL/MSSQL/Cassandra, RabbitMQ, basic level of Python for automation purposes
• good to have (frontend technologies): Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, React
  
• An academic degree in computer science
• At least 3 years’ experience in software development in a similar tech environment
• Good English skills, both orally and written. 

Nice to have:

• frontend: React, Ionic, HTML/CSS
• backend: GraphQL, ArgoCD
